Artist's Description

In this striking photograph, a majestic seagull takes flight against the backdrop of a vast, cerulean sky. With wings outstretched and feathers catching the soft glow of the sun, the seagull embodies a sense of grace and freedom as it traverses the boundless expanse above.

Above the seagull, the words "Be a light for all to see" command attention, their message a beacon of inspiration shining brightly against the backdrop of the heavens. Positioned at the zenith of the image, these words serve as a reminder of the importance of kindness and compassion, urging viewers to embrace their inner light and share it with the world around them.

In this moment captured in time, we are reminded of the transformative power of light and love, and the profound impact that each individual can have on the world. "Be a Light For All To See" invites us to embrace our own inner radiance and to shine brightly, lighting the way for others on their journey through life.

In contrast to my later life in Germany, where my eyes learned the organization and my hands the perfection; my childhood still influences my imagination. I remember picking the flowers in the spring or climbing...
